Aldi Coffee Pods (Price, Types, Quality, Roasts, Taste + More)
Many people find coffee to be the best way to start the day. With the introduction of pods of coffee, it is now easier and more efficient than ever. With the Keurig, there are many instant and espresso options.
Aldi supermarkets are well-known for their ability to sell food at steeply discounted costs. Aldi also offers coffee pods. Let’s have a look at Aldi’s selection of coffee pods.
Aldi offers coffee pods in their Barissimo line, which also includes higher-end products. Decaf as well regular, lighter roasts can be found in the pods. A box of 12 pods costs $3.55.
Aldi carries what type of coffee pods
Aldi offers six types of coffee cups in their Everyday collection. All of them are labeled with the Barissimo Coffee Collection. Aldi doesn’t call the pods they sell “cups”, so I will be using both interchangeably.
There are many flavors that you can get at any season of the year.

Aldi occasionally releases unique flavors in the Aldi Finds lineup throughout the year. Peppermint Mocha, perhaps, might appear in winter.
Around Valentine’s Day one year, they released a set of 12 romantic-themed chocolate flavors in a gift set.
Fall is always all about Pumpkin Spice, so you will likely find Aldi’s takes on that flavor in the autumnal months.

Are Aldi Coffee Pods Cheap?
Aldi prides itself on being consistent with pricing. When it comes to items like their coffee cups, all of which come boxed in packs of 12, no matter the flavor or coffee type, the Everyday cups remain $3.55.
Walmart sells their own coffee pods under the store label Great Value. These 12-packs retail for $3.92. It is worth noting that they offer a wider variety with around 15-20 choices.
Wegmans also sells their own store label coffee pods, for just a few cents more than Walmart, at $3.99 per 12-count. Wegmans also has a terrific variety, over 20 different types of Wegmans pods alone, including multiple flavors and roasts, and even an organic option (for $5.99).
Aldi coffee beans are cheaper than most of their competitors by at least 37c.
But, it’s possible that other grocery shops have more options. As I don’t include name brands like Dunkin’ ($7.99 10) and Starbucks ($8.49 ten), or McDonald’s ($7.49 ten).
Aldi Coffee Pods – What Are They Like?
Aldi coffee has earned some rave reviews from critics around the Internet, but unfortunately, no one has mentioned any of their Everyday coffee cups.
Although it would be unfair to draw an inexorable conclusion, I think we can safely say the taste was nothing to write home.
You are probably buying them for the convenience and for the price. That’s fine! Sometimes all you want is a coffee fix to make it through the day.
Although I have not tried the seasonal coffee pods yet, I loved the peppermint mocha, it was delicious and one of my favorites coffees.
Although I don’t like hot coffee much, the rich peppermint flavors and sweet chocolate flavor were delicious and luxurious.
Aldi sold hot cocoa in milk, dark and white chocolate. While the dark chocolate pods were tasty, it was nothing extraordinary.

Are Aldi Coffee Pods Compatible With Keurig Machines?
Aldi coffee capsules can be used with Keurig machine. These are the machines that Aldi’s pods are designed to fit into, and they work with all the models, including the new K-Duos and the Minis.
Are Aldi Coffee Pods Compatible With Nespresso Machines?
Aldi’s coffee pods for Everyday aren’t compatible with Nespresso machines. Nespresso machines are designed to be used at home. Nespresso is owned by the Nestle company, and while their machines are popular in Europe, they haven’t quite caught on as much Stateside.
Aldi’s Everyday coffee pods are not suitable for Nespresso machines due to their incorrect type of beans.
Aldi does not sell Everyday pods, but they do offer coffee capsules made specifically for Nespresso. Aldi Finds came in several flavors, and each box cost $3.49.
Reddit commented that they are having trouble finding them.
Because Nespresso machines have become more widely known abroad, European Aldi shops sell espresso pods in their Everyday line. They are sold under the Alcafe label.
Aldi Coffee Pods Compatible with Dolce Gusto Machines
Aldi Coffee pods do not fit with Nescafe Dolce Gusto espresso machines.
Aldi’s coffee capsules are only available with ground coffee. They do not contain the milk pods necessary to make lattes or cappuccinos.
Aldi has a range of Dolce Gusto-compatible coffee cups that are sold in international stores. They are available under the Alcafe Barista Moments label.
Aldi CoffeePods Compatibility with K-Fee Machines
Aldi coffee pods will not work with the K-fee machine. Starbucks Verismo pods may work in conjunction with your K-fee machine if you are searching for compatible cups that can be purchased at a supermarket.
Are Aldi Coffee Pods Compatible With Tassimo Machines?
Aldi coffee pods are not compatible with Tassimo machines, which require a special barcode on the cup to tell the machine how much water to dispense, how long to brew for and what temperature to brew at.
Aldi’s Everyday cups cannot be used incompatible machines like the Keurig coffeemakers. Keurigs being the most widely used single-cup machine in the U.S. makes this logical.
American consumers haven’t yet developed enough taste for espresso at home to justify all of the compatible pods.
