Amazon.com and marketplace sellers can ship selected items to a PO box beginning in 2022. They do however often work with carriers that can’t deliver products to PO boxes. Amazon buyers can opt for General Delivery addresses, or any other method to receive their Amazon parcels.
Although the potential for package loss is increased, Amazon’s PO boxes are used by some customers to send their parcels to General Delivery addresses.
Just like a PO Box, you can pick up the package at your local post office (remember to bring identification).
Below is the format for your Amazon shopping address. Remember to use uppercase letters if you want to be considered “General Delivery”.
This USPS service has been created for people who regularly travel, or don’t have mailing addresses. However, they still want mail.
It can still be used to receive parcels at any post office, rather than at your home or business.
You should also confirm with your Post Office that you accept General Delivery parcels before you attempt this technique.
Consider sending your belongings to a relative, friend, or family member with street addresses if you are nervous.
Another option is to rent a box from The UPS Store (or another shipping location that accepts Amazon delivery).

Amazon Locker stores are open 24/7 in select areas. Products can also be stored up to 3 days prior to pickup.
Why does Amazon still not deliver to PO Boxes

Amazon chose UPS and independent contractors to deliver many of its deliveries because they are financially sound.
The postal service charges the least for small and lightweight packages. However, heavier packages are usually transported more efficiently by other carriers (especially if they weigh more than one pound).
Amazon does make exceptions to the policy. Amazon will ship replacement phones and upgrade to mailboxes within 5 working days. On the other hand, you’ll need a street address to purchase a mobile phone for a new line.
Additionally, if you want to order medications for delivery from Amazon Pharmacy, be aware that this service completely excludes PO boxes.
To obtain prescription drugs, you will need to have a street address.
