What is Amazon Flex in 2022?
Amazon Flex allows drivers to pick up Amazon packages and deliver them to their homes. So, how does it all work?
First, the driver tells Amazon when and where they would like to have their delivery via the online platform. Amazon will then give the driver a “delivery block”, which corresponds to a shift at a particular geographic location.
The driver’s role is to pick up packaged orders from the nearby Amazon warehouse or fulfillment center, and then to drive to the customer’s door to deliver the package.
Since most deliveries occur within the hours of 6 am and 10 pm, the ability for flexible scheduling and part-time shifts is great.
It all depends on the number of packages delivered, as well as the time that the driver will spend collecting them.
