Amazon customers can enjoy discounts and get freebies such as Prime delivery and coupons. They also offer gift cards and gifts for friends and loved ones.
What does an Amazon Gift Card Claiming Code look like?
If customers don’t know where their claim number is, they can search on the backside of their gift certificate. The claim codes consist of 14 numbers and can be a combination of letters or numbers.
There is also a camera icon on the left, and usually a gift box icon on the right.
But customers who have been sent digital gift cards via email will see the claim code in their email.
How can I redeem my Amazon Gift card?
To redeem an Amazon gift card, the customer must follow these steps:
Log into your Amazon account. Click on Accounts and Lists at the top-right corner. Click the “Gift Card Balance” button in the menu section of Your Account. This page will take you to the “Redeem gift cards” section. Here, enter your 14digit claim code.
Amazon also allows customers to redeem their gift card via the app. You must complete the following to be able to use the app
Click on the button in the Amazon app to open it. Scroll down to Payments and select the “Manage Gift Card Balance” option. Next, select the “Redeem another gift card” option and either type the 14-digit code manually or scan the claim code by pressing the text next to the camera symbol.
Do I have to use the same Amazon gift card more than once?
Amazon gift cards can be used up until their balance runs out or the card expires. As long as your card is valid, you can refill gift cards.
However, customers should be aware that Amazon gift certificates are not valid for the same length of time in every country.
Amazon gift card cards may be used up to 10 year in the USA, but only one year for Indian and Chinese countries.
If customers want to refill their gift cards regularly, they should verify the expiration date. This will ensure that no money is being loaded they may not be able to spend.

Amazon Fresh: What can I do with an Amazon gift certificate?
Amazon Fresh allows customers to make in-store purchase or home deliveries with their gift cards.
But, Whole Foods customers are not allowed to use their gift certificates, but they could still use the card to order Amazon Now Grocery Delivery.
What Amazon Gift Cards can I use to split my purchase?
Customers can split Amazon.com orders by using two payment methods. One, they pay half the order with a credit/ debit card; and one half is paid via an Amazon gift certificate.
Splitting the payment is possible by customers adding items to the shopping cart. At checkout select “add payment options” to apply your gift card to the order.

On the back of each card, customers will find their claim code. Usually, new cards will have the 14-digit code covered with a white stripe, but there are two arrows pointing upward with the words “Claim Code” below it to indicate where the code is located.
Customers who were sent digital Amazon gifts cards by Amazon will not receive them in an email. However, they will receive the card with the code and 14-digit claim codes in the email.
