Kroger is America’s second largest retail chain and their reputation for offering customers easy shopping at every location is unmatched.
What is Kroger Cashback Policy and how can I get it?
Kroger’s general corporate policy allows them to give cash back for purchases at any one of their locations throughout the United States. Cash back can be gotten at self-checkout, customer service desk, and the register.
You can generally get up to $300 cash back on all transactions made using your EBT, Discover, debit, or credit cards.
Please note that cashback may not be given for all payment methods. To get cash back, you should check in with your Kroger local store to verify that the method is listed.

When using your debit card at any Kroger store, you can get up to $300 in cash back on all purchases.
This is Kroger’s maximum cash back offer. For cashback above $100, most shops will charge $0.50.
A $3.50 fee will apply to cash backs of $100 up to $300. Please note that the fee applicable to transactions exceeding $100 may differ slightly between stores.
Note also that if you run your debit card as a credit card at checkout, you will lose the cash back and you must run a PIN-based transaction to qualify.
Kroger cannot offer cashback for credit card transactions, however, Kroger locations participate in Discover Cash Over, which allows Discover cardholders to cash out up to $120 every hour.
There are no fees or charges for cash earned using Discover credit cards. This is in contrast to debit card transactions. However, you’ll still have to pay the regular interest rates for the cash back transaction.
Although cashback is possible on Discover card transactions not authorized with PIN (authenticated without it), this will often depend on the manager of the store.
Kroger stores can give you cash back when your personal check is paid. But the limit on cash back is quite low. You will receive $20 cash back for purchases that are made using a personal cheque.
It is possible that the personal checks processing time may have contributed to the low cashback. Typically, it takes between 2-3 business days for checks to clear at the bank. This is where Kroger has no charges.
Kroger offers cashback benefits to EBT card holders. Kroger Cash Back Policy allows Kroger to pay cash back on EBT Card transactions from $50 up to 100.
You must also have sufficient cash to pay for TANF (Temporary Aid for Needy Families).

The same applies if the value of the cash back is more than the price of the item or more than the limit allowed ($300). You cannot get cash back for purchases that are “off-order”
So, How Do I Get Cash Back from Kroger?
The cashback offer can be loaded to the Shopper’s Cards so that you are able to use it on any eligible purchase. After you buy the qualified item, your cashback balance will be accrued.
Is Kroger Cash Back Free?
