Walmart clearly wants its employees to know that their quarterly bonuses won’t be missed in order for them to receive better paychecks.
However, it does not appear that the termination of quarterly bonuses is indicative of a complete lack of bonuses.
Associates and employees will likely continue to receive bonuses, given at the company’s discretion, as incentives or awards.

Walmart’s management has always been eligible for bonuses.
Reddit’s r/Walmart Thread reveals that assistant store managers may earn up to $8,000 in annual bonuses.
The announcement that Walmart was ending quarterly bonuses in favor of higher pay for their waged employees may not apply to management, though.
One commenter suggested that manager and team leader bonuses will be tied into store performance.
