Walmart is home to thousands of useful products that can be ordered both in-store and online. But, the hardest thing is when your order is in its “processing” phase.
Why is it taking so long for my Walmart order to be processed?
Walmart orders in the “processing” stage are held up due to stock discrepancies. Also, Walmart may not have received all of its shipments. Walmart orders take more time than usual because Walmart fulfillment centres are not able to ship the order while stock is still available.
Why does my Walmart order say processing even though it is not yet processed?
The most likely reason is that it is currently classed as a ‘backorder.’ Backorders are orders made on products or items not currently available within store supply.
Walmart often waits for the new inventory of the ordered product to arrive and then sends the item when the stock arrives, rather than canceling the order altogether.
How Long Does It Take For Walmart To Process An Order?
After an order is sent to Walmart, or to fulfillment centers, Walmart may take up to four hours to process it. The order will then be processed and sent to shipping.
You may experience a delay up to two days if the item isn’t immediately in stock at the Walmart Store or Stocking Location.
Some Walmart customers had to wait for 2-10 days before the “processing” stage could be transferred to the “shipping”.
However, this happens very rarely, and a Walmart customer service representative will usually reach out if there are any long delays.
Does this mean I can do anything?
Walmart won’t let customers speed up the “processing” stage.
The order can be cancelled and you will receive a credit or another product.
Also, Walmart Customer Service can be reached at 1-800-925-6278 if you prefer not to cancel an order. They will offer a coupon or store credit for any inconvenience caused by the order.
Customers may receive $20 off the total value of their order by calling.
