Taylormade Tp5 Golf Balls Review & For Sale
First Impressions Of The Taylormade Tp5 Golf Ball
There is no obvious difference in the Taylor Taylor TP5/TP5X from most tour balls. Text, numbering, dimples, and text are pretty much the same. These are, however, claimed by the box to be “THE MOST COMPLETE TURN BALL”.
The reason for this statement is not how they look but how they’re designed.
The “5” symbol in TP5 stands for the number of layers within the ball. It is made up of two layers (cover and core) that create progressive levels of compression. You will find additional technical jargon in the packaging such as “Tri-Fast Core”,” “Dual-Spin Cover”,and “Maximum Energy Transfer” (Taylormade is the master of naming all their technologies, welcome Twist). Face You can see the face!
These two golf balls look great together and are sure to please any tour player looking for a ball of comparable quality.
Final Thoughts On Taylormade Tp5 Golf Ball
The hype about the TP5X and TP5X seems well-deserved.
These are priced just like the tour-level ball and cost $45 each, which is a little less than a Pro pack. Taylormade’s latest Tour Ball released with V1s and a performance at par or better.
The TP5x and TP5x felt great and played as they were supposed to from tee-to-green. I never felt as though my performance was lacking in any particular area compared to the other tour level balls.
If a golfer plays the proper ball, they can expect higher ball speeds, greater carry distances, improved performance in wind and better control around greens.
Although I prefer the TP5X ball, it is not my favourite. However, I suggest that you perform a similar analysis to see which model best suits your needs.

Tommy Fleetwood was astonished at how their ball performed when he signed for TaylorMade. Sergio Garcia, who at the time wasn’t even with the company (although he has recently re-joined), told him “Finally you get to see what you have been missing out on”.
Additionally, the ball was a strong performer at 2019 Ryder Cup. European players benefited from its use around Le Golf National. Rickie Fowler chose to move out of the Pro V1 to the TP5x golf ball after that week in Paris, and this is a trend that we are seeing more of on Tour.
A TaylorMade golf won five times in 2019 on the PGA Tour. In 2020, that number doubled as the TP5 range claimed two of three majors for men.
Ten years ago, no one on Tour used a TaylorMade golf ball. But today every staff player except Tiger has the TP5/TP5x.
Taylormade 2021 – Tp5 & Tp5X Golf Balls Reviews
Indoor Performance I was able to see very little between the indoor models 2019 and 2021 when testing Trackman using the TP5x. This is because it’s the ball that my most frequent use would be on the course.

How do the Taylormade Golf Balls Tp5 Compare to Other Golf Balls
The ball class of the balls you choose will be more noticeable to you than any difference made by manufacturers. The Pro is the preferred choice for golfers. V1 and PRO. V1x was the gold standard in golf balls. But, most players will love Callaway’s Chrome Soft and TaylorMade’s new TP5 lines.
Chrome Soft weighs in as the shortest and softest, while the TP5 TP5x match up closely with the Titleist Pro. V1 Pro. V1 x, respectively. Bridgestone also produces the Bridgestone Tour B330S, and Tour B330S three-pieces. TaylorMade, however, is the only one that can produce a ball with five layers.
Would I Use Them?
The TP5x would be my choice, not only because it is slightly faster for me but because it has a firmer covering that I enjoy the feeling of hitting the greens with the ball.
The Pix pattern is also a favorite of mine. I love the visuals on greens that show the ball moving towards the hole. It gives me great feedback about how I am stroking the ball!
Additionally, I feel it makes the ball look a little higher up in the green.
Which Tp5 or TP5X ball should I choose?
Taylor 2021 TP5x & TP5x have tee-togreen performance. Made’s unique five-layer construction. Both models have world-class distance off a tee. With the TP5 offering a softer feeling and more spin around greens, it also has faster ball speeds, thanks to a reactive core that’s larger than the previous generation.
TP5x is the fastest and longest ball in the current Taylor. The Taylor made line-up has a firmer feel, and it launches higher on iron shots. Additionally, the new cast urethane material covers provide a more gentle and green-side spin that was possible with previous generation.

Taylormade – A Serious player in the Golf Ball Market?
These rankings will depend on how you begin the count, and exactly what numbers you examine. TaylorMade could legitimately be said to be one of the fastest-growing balls brands in the last four years. TaylorMade is now in the middle of the market. Although that may seem a great distance from Titleist, TaylorMade does have some lower-cost options that are not as strong on the marketplace. Who doesn’t love Noodle? The point is that the growth is being driven by its Tour-level balls which makes sense given the strength of TaylorMade’s PGA TOUR staff.
TaylorMade’s premium balls sales could start to slow down and TaylorMade could be serious contender for the No. The market’s 2nd spot where TaylorMade could one day challenge Titleist.
For now, the company is content with steady growth and the bragging rights that come from having guys like DJ, Rory, Colin Morikawa and Rickie Fowler play your golf ball.
