TaylorMade MB Iron Review. Pros: My first task with these irons is to check their lofts, legths and lies. The good news? They were perfect. This is rare. They were also perfectly straight. This iron is perfect for setup, and it feels great!
Cons: My mistake may be obvious if you are completely honest. I shouldn’t have ordered the MCs in the 3, 4, or 5 iron. These blades aren’t very forgiving, as they’re obviously not super-forgiving.
Bottom line: For me, these irons have a wonderful set of features. These irons were great to use for many years. I am very happy that TaylorMade has once again built a forged iron because these MB’s feel like butter on a well struck shot!

Look: To me, this is a great looking set of irons. I like the slightly round toe. The topline is classic and the leading edge is very elegant. Some commentators and people have been concerned by the excess weight in the back. I think it looks awesome and helps with the swinging of the irons. And its not like you can see the weight at address anyways.
Review: Honma Tw737 vs. Forged Irons
The bag has an incredible feel throughout. This iron is very forgiving on mishits and has a slightly higher loft that generates a great distance to make forged irons.
Cons: Some will find the price point ($150 per club) too high to consider.
Bottom Line: The entire TW737 line boasts impressive specs and looks. TW737Vs with their stronger lofts and slightly wider shape could be the perfect choice for those who want to make the transition from game improvement irons to better irons.

For us to get their feedback and vote, as a company we first needed the proper sorting of irons into various categories. The categories were kept as straightforward as possible for 2017’s crop. So, we divided them into three main categories.
Players Irons: These irons can be described as small in size. The soles and tops of these irons are sharp. They place workability and control over distance, and for that reason they’re irons you can expect to see in the bag of a professional golfer.
Game-Improvement Irons: This is a category that includes medium-sized irons. This category includes a wide-range of clubs that blend distance, forgiveness, good looks and workability.
Irons with Super Game Improvement Irons: These are large irons. These irons feature large-sized heads, broad soles, deep top lines, large offsets, and other engineering feats that are unique to every company.
Notice: Players Irons are plentiful so we separated the category into Players Irons & Exotics Players Irons. Exotic Players Irons listed irons of companies like Epon, Fourteen and Miura. They are not widely available for testing here in the U.S.
Here are the results for our Members Choice 2017: Top Irons Lists. You also have the opportunity to leave feedback about every iron on the Golf. WRX Community. Thank you to all Golf. What does it mean to be Tour Preferred?
“Our mission with Tour Preferred is to make equipment that pleases the better player in terms of look, sound, feel and performance, through a collaborative creative process between tour professionals and Taylor. Engineers and designers are both made. Like Taylor, we design and build that equipment with the exact precision and care that a better player demands.” Made’s brand new Tour Preferred line-up (fyi…I really struggle with the temptation to use “TP”) range is much more than clubs. Beyond Speed. What makes the new TP Tour Prefer offerings different from all the other Taylor products is the use of pockets. Made’s competitors is the quality, and the personal experience that will be a part of every Tour Preferred purchase.
But what does this actually mean?
Taylor is now sporting their brand new irons. Made insists that attention to detail is given. Every curve, line, and angle is checked and re-checked throughout the manufacturing process to make sure it’s true to spec.
Taylor will personally build your Tour preferred order to the highest standards, regardless of whether it’s in 100% stock. Made’s Custom Department will handle your custom order. Along with your irons, you’ll get a speccard signed by the technician.
Tour Preferred offers something special. Taylor says it’s exceptional. Made hopes to create.
