SpeedBlades have a great address and a slim(ish) topline. They have a great trampoline-like feel when flushed, and mishits won’t punish your joints. The ball flight with the long irons can look down right majestic.
Cons: Trendy-ish design. A bit awkward with long irons for moving the ball. Additionally, the excessive offset may cause some concern to any player who is considering “regressing” toward the game improvement group.
Bottom Line: Forceful, forgiving and pretty freaking awesome. But low-handicap golfers might want something more workable.
The Speedblades is a cast iron cavity-back design with moderate offset and a brushed look. Although the shape and size of Speedblades are appealing, they do not seem to be as forgiving.
SpeedBlade Irons are able to have two-tone satin nickel chrome plating, dark smoke satin satin ion plating. This looks fantastic.
Review: Honma Tw737-Vs Forged Irons
Pros: Incredible feel all the way through the bag. These irons offer considerable forgiveness on mishits, and their slightly stronger lofts generate plenty of distance for a better-player forged iron.
Cons: Some may find $150 per club too much.
Bottom line: All of the TW737 lines boast impressive specifications and attractive looks. With their larger size and more loft, the TW737Vs could suit players who are looking to improve their game or those seeking greater forgiveness from forged sets.

We first had to sort irons into different categories in order to gather feedback and votes. With 2017’s iron crop, we wanted to make the categories as easy as possible. We broke down the irons into three categories.
Players irons: These small-sized irons look like tiny players. These irons are sleek with the soles and top lines. The irons place control and workability above distance. They are the kind of irons that professional golfers would carry.
Game-Improvement Irons: This is a category that includes medium-sized irons. These clubs combine distance, forgiveness and good looks with workability.
Irons that can improve your game with super-game-improvement irons. These irons are juiced with hot faces, wide soles, thick top lines, big offset and a low center of gravity, among other engineering feats, that are often unique to each company.
Notice: Due to the high supply of Players Irons, we split that category into Exotics Players Irons as well. Exotic Players Irons listed irons of companies like Epon, Fourteen and Miura. They are not widely available for testing here in the U.S.

Taylormade Speedblade Irons are “Game Improvement Irons”
Yes. Game improvement irons are any tool that helps a novice or beginner hit the ball more consistently, and offers forgiveness. These speed irons are also available. Speed Pocket technology and blade irons will certainly help improve ball flight and launch angle.
Most mid-to-high handicappers hit their iron shots thin, or too low on the face, so the Speed Pocket on the Taylor. The Made Speedblades has been designed to correct this.
Taylormade has also promised to manage distance gaps or create a greater gap between each number of clubs. That is very impressive – it means you’ll be hitting your 7iron at 150 yards, the 8iron at 140, and your nineiron at 20 yards.
Speed. Blades are available in satin nickel plating with two-tones. They can also be ordered with graphite shafts or steel shafts. As of this writing, you will find used sets of 3-through-PW for $200-$300. This includes a Sand Wedge, and an “approach”, marked A with loft between pitching and sand wedges.
Taylormade Speedblade: Who is it for?
Taylormade made this iron with a certain type of golfer mind. The design might not be right for everyone. We have to ask: What types of golfers do you think are the most suited for the Speedblade Iron?
If you can consistently make top of the head shots, beware. Speedblades have a high launch ability that can alter the normal trajectory of the balls. Think about how you swing before buying a Speedblade. A Speedblade is not necessary if you hit the balls hard enough.
The iron will suit those who prefer a longer, more sweeping swing, but with less divot. The iron has all the necessary feel and control for this type of swing. If you want to launch downwards, the feel of your shot will be different. This iron is best for short- and long-range hitters. Speedblades will be a worthwhile investment for powerful hitters. Speedblades are great for both power and consistency.
These irons can be used by experienced players. The irons can also be used by beginners. Speedblades are great for newbies who want to improve their confidence and swing stability. This iron is not affordable for newbies. It may not make sense to invest hundreds of dollars in learning how to play golf.
